DOCTORS

NO DOCTOR POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling occasional prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

NO RECEPTIONIST POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Because we are very serious about the level of care we offer, we only employ Certified Veterinary Technicians. Certified Veterinary Technicians are responsible for assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, pharmacy, client communication, surgical and medical procedures, the administration and monitoring of anesthesia, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Veterinary assistants are responsible for assisting the doctors, restraining animals, cleaning and maintaining exam rooms, filling pharmacies, some paperwork and phones, surgery preparation, client education, and helping the technicians with blooddraws and other technician appointments.  Assistants also help with receptionist duties from time to time.

NO ASSISTANT POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

KENNEL ASSISTANT

Kennel assistants spend most of their scheduled time working in the evenings/weekends when the other staff is gone.  Their job duties include keeping the hospital clean; ie. laundry, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning kennels, wiping down counters and sinks, etc.  At times when the other staff is present, they may be asked to restrain or help with pets.
