Dr. Hancock and her husband Jared purchased Southfork Animal Hospital in January 2024. Dr. Hancock completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 2018. During her clinical rotations, she did an externship with Southfork Animal Hospital and officially joined the SFAH team in June 2018. Dr. Hancock’s professional interests include preventive medicine, pain management, and hospice/palliative care. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Lakeville, as well as two dogs, a mastiff named Opie and a corgi named Gertrude. In her free time, Dr. Hancock enjoys spending time at the lake and being with family and friends.

Dr. Wrecza received her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota in 2003. She previously worked as a veterinarian in St. Joseph, MN. Her special interests include feline and canine medicine, as well as surgery and dental procedures. She lives with her husband, three children, and Ozzie the Golden Retriever.

Dr. Schmidt completed her undergrad and DVM at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Prior to Southfork, she worked in North St. Paul at a small animal private practice. Her professional interests include canine/feline preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.          Dr. Schmidt and her husband have a very spoiled tortie cat named Clementine and an adorable mixed breed pup named Trixie. She enjoys reading, traveling, caring for her plants, and spending time on the lake!
