Jared and his wife Dr. Hancock purchased Southfork Animal Hospital in January 2024. Together they have 2 daughters, and 2 dogs – a mastiff named Opie and a corgi named Gertrude. They reside locally here in Lakeville. With a background in Sales and Marketing Jared stepped seamlessly into the role of Hospital Administrator. Outside of work Jared enjoys spending time at the lake with his family and friends. Jared enjoys being able to make a difference in our patients’ and clients’ lives by keeping the hospital running smoothly behind the scenes. 

Sam started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in 2013 and transitioned to Practice Manager in 2021. She has a lab mix named Bella. Sam enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, cooking and going for walks. Some of Sam’s veterinary passions include making a difference in the lives of pets, educating pet owners, and supporting her coworkers.

Regan started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in October 2006. She has a dog named Roger, a cat named Carly along with a pony named Renly and a blue headed pionus parrot named Sookie. Outside of work she enjoys reading and horseback riding. Regans veterinary passions include helping sick pets feel better. 

Lindsey started working at Southfork Animal Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician in December 2010. She has two dogs named Nacho and Charlotte, three cats named Snots, Shadow, and Luna along with a Thoroughbred mare named Maddie and a whole bunch of pheasants. Outside of work Lindsey enjoys agate hunting, gardening/preserving, hunting, building things and DIY projects. Some of her veterinary passions include being a voice for our patients and reading body language and reactions to help better comfort and provide calmness for pets that are not feeling well.

Jessica started working at Southfork Animal Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician in February 2018. She enjoys going to movies, hanging out with friends and family, watching the Vikings and MN Wild play, and motorcycle rides. Some of Jessica’s veterinary passions include being able to help find out why an animal is ill and seeing them back to their healthy self again. Dental cleanings are another passion of hers, she loves being able to see a pet’s mouth go from dirty/infected teeth to beautiful healthy teeth and gums.

Katie started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in January 2014. She has one boxer named Flora. Some of her hobbies include trying new restaurants and breweries around Minneapolis to sample craft beers and new food. She also enjoys walking the local lakes in Minneapolis with her dog. Some of Katie’s veterinary passions include helping to make appointments as painless as possible for pets, and new puppy and kitten appointments, “I love watching them grow up and the bond between owner and pet develop.”

Alyssa started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in November 2016. She has one spicy cat named Mingo. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting national parks, watching tv shows and going to church. Some of Alyssa’s veterinary passions include taking detailed patient histories, comforting sick pets, and providing excellent customer service.

Jozi started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in April 2023. She has a rabbit named Wilbur, a lizard named Pumpkin and two cats named Kobeni and Alphonse. She enjoys reading, playing video games, DnD and cooking. Some of Jozi’s veterinary passions include meeting new patients and learning new things about the animal medical field.

Mitch started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in August 2023. He has a lab named Brandy. Outside of work he enjoys deer hunting and fishing. Some of Mitch’s veterinary passions include meeting new animals and getting to know all the people who are so passionate about their pets!

Molly started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in July 2019. She has a German Pinscher named Ginny, a cat named Gandalf and a ring-necked dove named Louie. Outside of work Molly enjoys quilting and canoeing. Molly’s veterinary passions include getting to see all the wonderful pets that come to SFAH every day.

Courtney started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in May 2020. She has 4 cats, Kovu, Stella, Oliver, and Mudder. Outside of work Courtney enjoys reading, watching horror movies, going to concerts and being with her family. Courtney’s veterinary passions include being a source of help and support to owners and seeing all the furry faces that come to our hospital every day. 

Diane started working at Southfork Animal Hospital in October 2022. She has two cats named Homie and Charlie. Outside of work she enjoys watching scary movies, reading horror novels and night fishing with her Husband. Diane loves meeting all the pets that come to our clinic and meeting their owners as well. Working with such a fantastic team makes it enjoyable to come to work every day.

Kendra started working at Southfork Animal Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician in May 2021. She has two cats named Felix and Khalessi and a dog named Bucky. Outside of work Kendra enjoys reading, going to movies, and doing her nails. Some of her veterinary passions include dental cleanings – “I love being able to make a difference in a pet’s quality of life and comfort.”

Annika started working at Southfork Animal Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician in July 2021. She has 3 cats named Mia, Bowe and Merlin. Outside of work Annika enjoys gardening, doing art and all things CATS – which includes stroller rides with her cats! Some of Annika’s veterinary passions include working at a feline friendly practice, her coworkers and helping pets and their people.
